All live and artificial flower arrangements, small figurines and memorabilia will be removed by the maintenance crew on that date if they're not removed by families, according to maintenance supervisor Gaylord Weidlick.
They'll be placed by the maintenance shed for about two weeks, then everything will be thrown away. Weidlick asks families not to place solar lights, lawn ornaments, glass or ceramic vases or memorabilia on the graves because these items create unsafe conditions during mowing and trimming.
Planted gardens or flowers are not permitted at gravesites.
